FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY

A family photo session is a relaxed shoot capturing your beautiful family as it grows. And it is also a fun way of spending time together as a family! I do family sessions at a location of your choice. The best time of day to do location photos depends on the location - beach sessions, however, are only done the hour after SUNRISE to have the full benefit of beautiful natural light, without the strong backlighting associated with sunset photos. The session usually lasts an hour. If we decide to do it at a park, we have to stick to opening hours, in which case we do it as close to opening time or closing time as possible.

We have several gorgeous locations in and around our lovely city. Few favourite beach locations are Grange Beach Jetty, Port Noarlunga and Port Willunga. Parks include the Adelaide Botanical Gardens , the Himejii Gardens, Wittunga Botanical Gardens and also Tangari National Park. But I am always open to other suggestions.

The family package includes the following:

Up to 6 family members (Additional members $20 p p)

At a location of your choice

20 digital images selected from a set of 30 edited images (sometimes, if there are more amazing images, the amount of images from which you can select your favorites will be more)

A sneak peek within a day

The edited high resolution digital images delivered online within a week

 

Outfits are the responsibility of the client. Keep your outfits simple and stick with tones that compliment each other - white, beige, soft pastels or blues work well together. Or stick to the rich, warm tones of different or autumn colors. If possible avoid any bright colors - instead of red go for maroon, or mustard instead of yellow. Also try and dress in similar styles - good examples are jeans / denim shorts / denim  shirts and t-shirts, or whites and blues. Avoid wearing bold patterns and blacks.

I love working with children, and know they are not always predictable (having 4 of our own). However, it is important that you discuss the session beforehand with your children as unfortunately I cannot deliver a good product without their cooperation.

I don't release or showcase any raw or unedited images - only the final edited product is included as part of your package.

A $100 surcharge applies to all weekend bookings.
